Christopher Daly is an accomplished marketing executive with more than 25 years of experience driving growth, business transformation and customer engagement for large retailers such as Macy's Inc. and Academy Sports & Outdoors.
Known for his ability to bridge strategy and execution, Chris has successfully led cross-functional teams, built high-impact partnerships and implemented innovative solutions that drive revenue growth while improving marketing efficiency. He has consistently been at the forefront of leveraging data, analytics and technology to help brands better understand consumer behavior and create more meaningful customer connections.
At Macy's, Chris played a key leadership role during the company's landmark 2006 merger, overseeing the integration and consolidation of media strategies across multiple regional retail brands. His efforts helped create a unified national media approach that improved efficiency, strengthened brand consistency and supported the organization's long-term growth objectives.
At Academy Sports + Outdoors, Chris built and led high-performing teams across media, CRM, email marketing, strategic partnerships and marketing technology. Under his leadership, these functions evolved into critical growth drivers for the business, helping position the company for its successful initial public offering in 2020 and supporting its continued expansion as a publicly traded retailer.
